Returns & Exchanges

Thank you for ordering from The Makery Collection. While we hope you love your jewellery, we understand that ordering online can be an imperfect experience so we offer returns and exchanges on your order, under the following conditions:
 
  1. Jewellery ordered on The Makery Collection website or purchased from our studio in Parkview, Johannesburg, may be returned within 14 days of the purchase date, for an exchange or refund, under the following conditions:
  2. Items must be returned to The Makery Collection in Johannesburg, in their original packaging, unworn and in perfect condition.
  3. We require proof of purchase from our online shop or our Johannesburg shop to confirm the date the item was bought. 
  4. Please deliver returns in person to our Johannesburg shop or send items to Postnet Parkview, Johannesburg or to our physical address via courier.
  5. Before sending returns, please email us on info@themakerycollection.com or WhatsApp us on 064 878 3368 to confirm eligibility and we will let you know the delivery address for returns.
  6. We will not accept the following items: Any items not in their original packaging or that show signs of having been worn, items that do not have their proof of purchase, sale items, old stock that is no longer being sold at The Makery, items purchased at a retailer selling The Makery jewellery.
  7. Delivery charges of the original purchase will not be refunded.
  8. Delivery charges for a return or replacement will not be paid by The Makery Collection and are for your account. This applies to delivery and collection of the replacement item.
  9. Returns will only be replaced or refunded once we receive the unwanted item/s.
WHAT IF MY ONLINE ORDER IS DEFECTIVE WHEN I RECEIVE MY PARCEL?
  1. Should your item of jewellery be broken or defective when you receive it, please advise us of this within three days in order to arrange a replacement or refund.
  2. Please have proof of payment available to show the date of purchase.
  3. We will arrange for the defective item to be collected from you and will send you a replacement if stock is available. If stock is not available, we will give you a refund. The Makery will pay for collection and delivery of the replacement item.

PLEASE NOTE:

  1. The Makery Collection is not liable for the replacement or refund on items that have been damaged after being removed from the original packaging and worn.
  2. Any items purchased from resellers of The Makery Collection jewellery will be subject to that retailers return conditions and may not be exchanged directly with The Makery Collection.
