We’re partial to a funnel neck. A lot of it has to do with perfecting the relaxed, layered look. If you like wearing short sleeves over long sleeves, extra long tops under short tops, an eye-catching neckline adds just enough interest to ensure you don’t like like you’ve just stepped out in your pyjamas.
It’s autumn 2020. We’re in lockdown around the world and it’s hard to imagine the day we’ll look back at this time when life as we knew it slowed down. It’s been frustrating for many but at The Makery, Heidi and Jacquie have decided to take some time to start sharing images and ideas of the things we love and the looks that inspire us. We had a momentary flirtation with Trinny and might even think of making the odd video or two ourselves. The Makery started because we both fell in love with a certain look when it came to jewellery and fashion and the two of us still have an amazingly similar eye. We’re going to share that look with our followers and look forward to hearing what you think. It’s quite simple really: for us fashion is about timeless style with a twist – and colour only, well, when it has a magical pop. We use the word pop a lot.
